What is discrimination in public service ?
Prohibiting discrimination in public service refers to civil servant employment and career ; access conditions to public services and social benefits and compliance with regulations, by virtue of the principle of non-discrimination.
Promoting Equality
The HALDE cooperates with the local authorities in their capacity as employers, but also as public players, in order to ensure the incorporation of the prevention of discrimination principle in their actions.
Deliberations
- The HALDE’s decisions are handed down by the Council, in form of deliberations. Each case is investigated to clarify the facts, present legal analysis of the situation from the standpoint of anti-discrimination law and inform of the Council’s findings.
