Promoting Equality

The HALDE supports and implements action to prevent discrimination and promote equality with all players : administrations, enterprises, associations, industrial partners, etc.

Its action is intended to improve knowledge of discrimination in all individuals in order to bring about changes in practices and mindsets. The HALDE performs information-sharing and awareness-raising, addressing both victims and those exposed to the risk of being discriminated against, in order to enable a better understanding of discriminatory phenomena and work together to find new means of action to remedy them.

To challenge stereotypes and bias, it is necessary to mobilise the players in all the areas where discrimination might appear. The HALDE encourages its partners to develop best practices. Them and the other players need to ensure that their practices are discrimination-free, whether with regard to employment, housing, access to goods and services, education, etc.
